Bride Pride Provincetown – July 22, 2017
If you’re looking to tie the knot this year, join us in Provincetown at Bride Pride, the World’s Largest All-Girl Wedding and Renewal Ceremony, now in its second year. You’ll find yourself in the company of hundreds of women simultaneously declaring their never-ending love for each other beneath the stunningly sun-soaked and surreal July sky during Provincetown’s epic Girl Splash week.
You’ll be legally married by award-winning, irreverent Reverend-for-the-day, LGBTQ icon Kate “Mad Vow” Clinton. And, if there are at least 100 couples, you’ll become part of recorded history with Guinness Book of World Records for the World’s Largest Lesbian Wedding and Renewal Ceremony.
After the vows and rings and a parade down Commercial Street, the whole town will be your reception party. Now, in its tenth year, Girl Splash is a week-long women’s event spiked with parties, performers, events and everything beautiful Provincetown has to offer in the height of the summer season.
Provincetown is the perfect backdrop for a wedding. It’s filled with stories of love, equality and acceptance and is meant to be shared with lovers. And, what better way to say “I Do” than surrounded by your tribe in the state where gay marriage was first made legal?
The day is shaping up to be nothing short of amazing – with lots of special things planned and being planned for you including the events, shows and parties Girl Splash has planned for the days and nights leading up to your special day. To take advantage of this unique, amazing opportunity, be sure to register to be one of the lucky brides.
On behalf of those married, Bride Pride will be making a donation to Cyndi Lauper’s True Colors Fund – working to end homelessness among LGBT youth, creating a world in which young people can be their true selves. To learn more about True Colors Fund, check out Cyndi’s message.
We have opened the event up to couples who would like to renew their vows, as well! So whether you live in Provincetown year-round or plan to attend this year’s Women’s Week festival, you might want to go ask your wife to do it all over again and make plans immediately to be here for Bride Pride!
