Open every day 8-6; Friday, Saturday and Sunday til 7 PM, last museum entry 4:00 PM.
The Whydah Pirate Museum is our base of operations. Here you will learn how Barry Clifford and his Team discovered the legendary wreck of the Whydah Galley, which sank in a northeaster off nearby Wellfleet in 1717.
You will learn the fate of Captain Sam Bellamy and his pirate crew, have a glimpse into the little-known golden age of piracy, view authentic weaponry, tools, canons, coins and other artifacts, all excavated from the wreck.
Now featuring ‘Grab N Go’Style – fresh pastries and sandwiches daily from Connie’s Bakery; Cape Cod Pops ice cream treats; chips, snacks, cold drinks, fruit – open at 8:00 A.M. Proud to serve Speedwell Coffee, iced coffee, too!
The Ship’s Store is well-stocked with pirate-themed T’s and caps, unique nautical gifts, mugs, works by local artists, Pot-lucky-cat gear, collectibles, games, toys for kids and books that appeal to all ages.
Our admission prices are: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and kids. Kids 5 and under, free. Group rates available, please inquire.
